The design and construction of emergency medical services office accommodation.

Event of Works:
This project will focus primarily on the efficient and effective service delivery for emergency medical services (EMS) staff in rural KZN.

Main focuses and key aspects of the project include:

• Improve and provide conducive working environments by constructing office accommodation to house (EMS) staff including an ambulance wash bay and parking amenities for ambulances and staff.

Scope of the project:

• Construction of double wash bay
• New District manager office with proper filing and consulting space.
• Crew room (15 person unit)
• Male and female ablutions (showers , lockers , water closets and wash hand basins
• Advanced life support room to store equipment such as: cardiac machines
• Surgical storeroom storage room for storage of bandages, masks and gloves.
• New boardroom for the utilization of meetings
• New kitchen for lunch breaks
• New stationery equipment room for storage
• New Sluice room for the disposal of human waste and disinfection of associated items
• Medical and general waste provisions for the disposal of thereof
